It's important to be safe while using chat rooms, most users and never read the safety guide but it's very important to do so. Most peoples attitude is 'I'm not that stupid' 'It wont happen to me' but it can happen to anyone. These fraudsters are professionals and earn a living from telling people whatever they think is necessary to exploit them in different ways.
Do NOT click on any links posted in the chat rooms, it only takes 1 click to give someone total control over your computer. Never click any links in the chat rooms unless it's sent out by an official administrator.
Never give out personal information in the chat rooms, don't tell anyone information that can identify you as an individual. You can be banned for this, we will ban anyone putting themselves at risk for the protection of Stelivo.
Reporting Suspicious Activity is a great help to us, although we have advanced moderation techniques and a good strong stable team of human moderators, we cannot be everywhere at once. It's a great help for people to join the #Help chat room and report someone you think might be abusing the chat rooms and it's users. It doesn't matter if your wrong but we like to be sure and check up on every complaint.
Be friendly in the chat rooms. You don't know who you are talking to and what they can do so it's best to stay neutral during petty arguements and in general, be nice and welcoming talk to the new users welcome them into the chat rooms. It's up to you how you wish to be seen in the chat rooms and if you enter rooms with a bad attitude and abusive text then your chatting experience is going to be very short with us.
In the Chat Rooms the main risk if yourself, how much information are you willing to give to others? be smart, understand if it's too good to be true then it probably is, don't give out information that personifies you as a individual. Let your common sense guide you to a safe and entertaining chat experience with us.
